There are various daily tour organized by two different hotel which are Farah Hotel and Palace Hotel (located nearby Baghdad Hotel)(see map below the page for directions). I would recommend you leave your name in the waiting list for day tours at both hotels in early morning and come back at around 9pm in the evening to confirm the tour for the next day. You are allowed to make the reservation even though you'd stayed at Baghdad Hotel. Just note that you are staying at Baghdad Hotel and leave your name with the Farah and Palace Hotels for daily tours. Normally the hotel staffs would ask around the hotel guests to share the taxi expenses. So, hopefully the taxi would filled up and expenses will be divided equally among the confirm passengers. The options tours are DAILY TOUR ONE : Desert Castle Tour (Around 50 JD per taxi) (return trip), DAILY TOUR TWO : Kings Highways (will stop for sightseeing at Madaba, Mount Nebo, Karak, etc ) (it is a one way trip and will leave the passenger to overnight at Petra)(Around 80JD per taxi)(If you want to return back to Amman from Petra the next day, there is local bus 3JD per seat or there's express bus managed by JETT bus), DAILY TOUR THREE: Damascus Tour (80 JD per taxi) (single way trip and will leave the passenger in Damascus, Syria) and DAILY TOUR 4 : Dead Sea Trip (Return trip ) (will stop at Madaba, Mount Nebo, Dead Sea)(50 JD per taxi) (Note: if 4 people can be gathered for the trip, just divide the taxi ride fare by four to get the individual charges)(Note: Price stated up there is for the transportation only and not including the entrance fees to tourist sites)(For instance, church Madaba JD1, Karak Castle JD1, Petra (21JD per day / 28JD for two days), etc. (Note: If you wanted to hire your own taxi tourist driver kindly contact Mr Fawwaz Qadoura, a tourist driver, who speaks english very well and can a good tour guide to wadi rum, petra, karak, dead sea, amman and other places. There are two famous mosque in Amman one is called as King Hussein Mosque (as located in the map below, walking distance from the Baghdad Hotel) and another one is called as King Abdullah Mosque (which located nearby with Abdali Bus Station)
For only 1 JD for entrance fee, you'll get an entrance into Nymphaeum and Roman Amphiteather (as located in the map below, walking distance from the Baghdad Hotel). Inside Roman Amphiteather, there are two museums called Folkfore Museum and Jordan Museum of Popular Traditions.

Take a taxi to go to Citadel (located on Jabal). Taxi ride costs around JD 1 to 2JD. Inside there's museum of achaeology and Ottomon Mosque and Citadel. The entrance into the site is 2JD.
Take a taxi to go to Abdali. Taxi ride costs around JD 1 or ask the meter to be on. Always remember to negotiate the taxi price before taking the ride if the meter is not on. There are required by the law to turn on the meter. From Abdali, there's a bus express to go to Irbid (JD1), Queen Alia International Airport (1.25JD) and other places at our convenient.
